Join us this spring break for an adventurous journey through space! Blast through the atmosphere into an out of this world realm by building a rocket. Build a world where rebels and the dark side start epic battles. Campers use project kits and model plans to build moving LEGO creations. Models incorporate gears, beams, axles, motors and battery packs. Build motorized models that represent spacecrafts from your favorite space movie. Dynamic activity stations along with daily take homes are provided. All campers receive a custom LEGO mini figure at the end of the week.

This workshop is designed to be extremely effective in teaching teen girls how to protect themselves. The central focus is to create an extremely safe learning environment while ensuring high quality service. Instructors are members of the Bolingbrook Police Department. Training includes practicing full force self-defense techniques, as well as everyday safety skills which focus on awareness and prevention skills. The workshop emphasizes techniques that can stop an attack without violence. All workshops involve physical practice, role play and stories to teach skills.
